This is the website of Els van den Brink, who works as a science journalist since the beginning of 2005. On a regular basis she writes articles for several magazines and newspapers. She is specialised in the field of chemistry and life sciences. She is able to write easy reading articles, both in Dutch and English.

Els van den Brink studied chemistry at the Utrecht University, and received her PhD in the field of biochemistry in June 2004. While she was working on her PhD project, she followed a course in science journalism. After her PdD she worked for several months at the editorial office of C2W, a professional journal on chemistry and life sciences, comparable to Chemical & Engineering News. This enabled her to start working as freelance science journalist.
